EVENTLOCATION & DATE

Back to our roots, for the event weekend of 20-22 March 2009, we will stay at the Golden Tulip Parkhotel Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands.

EVENTFEE

Register before the 1st of Februari 2009 for an event fee of ? 20. After that the eventfee will be ? 25. For minors <18 we will use a reduced rate, contact me direct for information. There will be limited room for people to attend just one of the days, contact me direct for information.

ROOMS (current allotment = 28 rooms)

We cut a prety sharp deal with the hotel, so for the event nights (20-21, 21-22, 22-23) we can offer the following:

doubleroom: ? 65 per room per night (iow ? 32,50 if you shack up with a roomy)
singleroom: ? 57,50 per room per night

to get the pricing this sharp I had to accept that for those comming in BEFORE Friday, or staying beyond Monday the rates are:

doubleroom: ? 137 per room per night
singleroom: ? 132 per room per night

Which is still at a discount compared to the normal (published, see their website) rates of ?148 single and ?171 double, but not

All rates above are excluding breakfast and tourist tax, the later is currently ? 1,15 per person per night, but could vary in March.

ALTERNATIVE LODGING

For those that want to find alternative lodging, you might want to check out:

Tulip Inn, Bergen op Zoom. This place has some appartments that might sleep more. It is located at a 5 minute walk from the venue
StayOkay, Bergen op Zoom. A former Youth Hostel this also has some dormitory areas that would sleep more people, so you might find a cheaper sleeping option here. Note that this is located in the woods on the southern edge of town, and you will need transportation to & from the venue.

FOOD

Saterday Night Social Dinner will be a Cold & Hot buffet, EuroGT style. Cost is ? 27,50 per person. Please indicate participation for Dinner upon registration. Note that this dinner (and other food-related things) are available for ALL registrated players, ALSO those not staying at the hotel.

As noted above the room-rates have been set-up without Breakfast. Should you want to include breakfast then indicate this at registration OR with the hotelstaf at the event. Breakfast are charged at ? 12,75 (discount)

During the day (12:00 - 22:00) on saterday and sunday there will be a snack-menu available. This dishes can be ordered AND eaten at the Venue, but NOT in the restaurant. Of course feel free to use the restaurant and eat ala Carte.

All food and beverages can be charged to the room (per person!). Should you not stay at the hotel and still want to charge, start a EuroGT-name-account at the frontdesk of the hotel. You will however need a Creditcard to do this!

!! the Hotel has asked us specificaly to refrain from "ordering-in", or bringing in fast-food from the nearby MacDonalds. Some snacking (Chips etc) at the tables wont be a problem. Tap-water in the Netherlands is drinkable everywhere, so if you dont want to dehydrate consider that.
