Here we go again! SteamStorm is returning for the 4th year and so are hopefully all of you. Let's start with the important dates:

Date of the tournament: 23.-24. April 2016
Date of start of pre-registration: 1. december 2015
Date of regular registration: 3. december 2015
Date of list submission: 15. April 2016

Location stays the same, evening socialising, awesomness as well as free beer too.


We will see what the new SR will bring, but I am very tempted to tinker with the rules slightly. Something like 3 list ADR would be cool. What do you think? Please leave comments.

Pairing will take into account gaming groups and nationality, so I will try to avoid pairing ppl from the same group as long as the results will allow it (probably into round 2 as well) Grudge matches ARE allowed, but I need to know in advance, not on the day of the tournament. No painting requirement. Extreme proxy models are to be photographed and sent for approval. HAVE cards available, not just Warroom.

What's changing:

This time, there will be a fixed 64 spots in order to ease the schedule with a relaxed 3-3 split for more time at the pub.

60 pre-registration spots will be open for previous years' attendees. However, note that it means attendees from all previous years to be fair to everybody, which inevitably means you wanna still register rather quickly 4 spots are reserved for special guests. A waiting list will be created again, since there are allways some people who ultimately need to cancel. Pre-registration will be again done by email to the known address: 5 [dot] dimenzia [at] gmail [dot] com with SteamStorm 4 as the subject.
It should include your full name (additionally also nickname in case you don't want your name to be seen on a public forum on a list of registered players) and country. The entry fee will be 35 EUR. You will get a confirmation email with instructions about payment. For Eurozone participants it will be bank account info, for countries with different currencies it will be Paypal. Your spot reservation will be held for 1 week. After payment is received you will get a second confirmation email
with your player number for the tournament. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis and may be only partial (mainly as long as there are ppl on the waiting list). Once you decide to come and you pay, DO come
