**Just got back from attending Games Day in Chicago. Heard some of the following Bretonnian preview news at a seminar present by Gordon Davidson (stuido head):

--Bretonnians are going away from the goody-goody Arthurian pretty boys and becoming more medieval. Darker.
--New unit that will be Grail Knight worshippers. They follow around and 'worship' Grail Knights. When a knight dies, they take his equipment to carry on his name. They will also be able to carry around the body of a fallen knight and put it in a unit kinda like a Skaven Screaming bell. The body will confer additonal Lady's Blessing powers. Almost flagellent like.
--Grail Knights will all be champions and have 2 attacks. Not sure if they will have more than one wound (should have asked!). They will have Ld. 9 (or , the presenter was not quite sure. They will still be immune to psy.
--peasant units will have Ld. 5 and be very colorful.
    --peasant bowmen will be core
--peasants bowmen will have spikes mounted in the front rank to protect them from chargers. The spikes will act as an obstacle (attackers need 6's to hit) and will also negate any special charging bonuses (no +2 for lances or +1 for spears, no strike first).
--Pegasus knights units are 'fer sure. Will be available in plastic. Will act as flying skirmisher units. This was done to add a bit of high fantasy into the list.
--3 types of knights: Realm, Questing, and Grail. No more errant from the sounds of it.
--3 characters: Fey Enchantress, the Green Knight (same mini), and...can't recall the third--probably the King.
--There will be 3 boxes of plastics: Peasants, Knights (can make either Realm or Questing) and Pegasus.
--Trebuchet will be available. Very cool mini in the preview slide. In the fluff, it will be modeled like it was built from old cathedral pieces and fires pieces of the fallen rubble. Very cool.
--The Lady's Blessing powers will be variable based on the number of knightly units on the board. It will be able to confer a 5+ Ward Save to knights. Very sweet.

Overall, it sounds like they are really spending a lot of time
into the army list and fluff. Sounds very cool. Early 2004 was the expected release date.
