D.h. ist es aus Datenschutzsicht in meinen Augen zu begrüssen, das Unternehmen dazu angehalten werden explizit um Erlaubnis zu fragen.

Mein Browser ist auf "Cookies bis zum Beenden akzeptieren" gestellt. Die Anfrage für die GW-HP kommt trotzdem. Nichts desto trotz sollten diese "extra erlaubten" Cookies mit dem Beenden wieder gelöscht werden, oder?

Übrigens, falls sich jemand mal gefragt hat womit denn nun Facebook, Google und Co ihre Milliarden Umsätze machen: Profile von Kunden (welche Website wird wie lange besucht, ...) sind recht leicht zu verkaufen und mit Cookies einfach zu sammeln.

@Sir Ratlos: Naja unser demokratischer Prozess hat uns mit der Vorratsdatenspeicherung auch nix gebracht.

Für mich is es damit fix, dass die nächsten Farben bei Vallejo eingekauft werden.

Ich wundere mich oft, wie leichtfertig viele mit ihren Daten umgehen. Ich habe keine Billacard, keine Kreditkarte, kein Handy und bin nicht bei Facebook. (Also in den Augen der Jüngeren wohl ein alter Asi von vorgestern.)
Man weiß, was die Leute googeln, kaufen, essen, wo sie wann waren usw. Sogar ich kriege am Rande mit, was einige auf Facebook über sich auspacken ...

Das Firmen diese Gelegenheit dazu nutzen einfach mehr Rechte zu verlangen (bzw. erpressen) war auch absehbar, ob das signifikante Einbußen in ihrem Umsatz nach sich zieht bleibt abzuwarten. Bei der "ja, Ok" Mentalität die bei Computer-BenutzerInnen vorherrscht wage ich das leider zu bezweifeln. Soviel zu "der Markt reguliert sich selbst"

Klar gibt es Cookies schon immer, nur bisher konnte ich die Seite öffnen und trotzdem alle Cookies blocken, nun werde ich quasi gezwungen, sie zuzulassen, weil ich sonst nicht mehr reinkann. Das finde ich nicht in Ordnung, fast schon Erpressung - gut, dass ich eh alle Modelle für meine Armee soweit mal beisammen habe...

Soweit ich weiss gab es die Cookies schon immer, die Seiten müssen jetzt allerdings um Erlaubnis fragen.

Dank dir. Das heißt aber unterm Strich, dass GW meine Daten an dritte ihrer Wahl weiterleiten/verkaufen kann, wie es ihnen passt. Ist das nicht eine Verschlechterung der Situation?

Das ist neu und die Umsetzung des neuen EU-Datenschutz-Gesetzes. Da die Umsetzungsfrist für dieses Gesetz bald abläuft, werden wohl viele Firmen ähnliches machen.

Hallo,
kurze Frage. Hab heute versucht, auf die GW-Seite zu kommen und kriege nach "Choose your country" die Aufforderung, Cookies zuzulassen - was ich nicht mache ("sorgfältig ausgewählte Dritte" usw.).
Nun komme ich nicht mehr auf die Seite. Ist das neu? Vorrübergehend?
