    Chaos Gerüchte!

Unser alle Lieblingsquelle Portent hat wieder mal etwas ausgespuckt:
I have seen a photocopy of the new chaos book
I had the pleasure of checking out a photocopy of the new chaos army book on saturday. I shall try and post the details I remember.

    - Chaos warriors are definitely Core

    - Chaos Knights do indeed have 'Soul Cleavers' rather than lances for +1S all the time. One unit can be upgraded like empire Inner Circle knights. these guys recieve an extra +1S and +1A (one A basic) and can also have Chaos Armour for more extra points (can't remember how many points though).

    - there are two different levels of Chaos Hero, an exalted Champion and a slightly less hard Aspiring Champion.

    - Beastmen are included but only as a single unit of generic beastmen, no Bestigor etc IIRC.

    - Thare different Chaos gifts to give your characters, depending on which power they follow. eg if Tzeentch Chaos lord can be upgraded to a level 4 wizard for 150pnts. Chaos heroes to L2 wizards for 75pnts (I think). Nurgle chars can rec +1W for 50/30 pnts (I think) Slaanesh chars can become immune to psychology and Khorne become frenzied (not sure on this tho').

    - There are different spell lists for Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle (with some intersting names!) the basic spell on the Tzeentch list is cast on 4+ and allows the character to reroll all the dice roled affecting them until the next magic phase eg. all to-hit rolls, to-wound rolls, armour saves, look-out sir rolls etc. (get your level 4 Tzeentch Chaos Lord with this baby and watch him go). Another spell (number 5 on the list I think) causes Horrors to appear from the wounds like the good old days. The only Slaanesh spell I can remeber was Titillating desires and when cast on a unit within 24" allows the caster to nominate a point on the battlefield and the enemy unit has to head towards it at full speed. Sorry can't remember any Nurgle spells.

    - There is indeed some kind of daemonic cannon (which does have a Chaos Dwarf crew) but it seems to be something like the old earthshaker Chaos dwarf machine as it uses one of the round templates with the hole (though I can't remember what size, what strength etc)

    - harpies have been replaced by something exactly the same but daemonic. (some kind of undivided daemon apparently)

    - Dragon Ogres have gone down in points slightly but reduced in stats quite a lot (I didn't know the RH stats for these so I will take a friends word for this).

    - There appeared to be 2 different lists, one for Chaos warrior lords and one for daemon lords, and I think the greater daemons could only be used in the second list, the differences just seemed to be a shuffling of which units were core/special etc.

    - Horrors no longer split but are accompanied by these screamer things which kind of buzz around the unit. Didn't read any more about these as at first glance the rules seemed a bit complicated. BTW Horrors are now WS 2 unless this was a mistake.

    - All Nurgle daemons ( Gt Unclean One, Plaguebearers, Nurglings) have cloud of flies and are -1 to hit

    - daemonic beasts seem to no be in anymore - no Steeds a Slaanesh and Beasts of Nurgle only appeared as an upgrade for Chaos spawn (+15 pnts - poisoned attacks), don't know about Juggernauts (sorry don't really like Khorne) but Discs of Tzeentch are included (but not Flamers IIRC)

    - Chaos Spawn are a 0-1 rare unit with a maximum of three models and have random S and A now.

    - Special Characters are Archaon (825pnts) whoose steed appears to be a monster like Malhandir and a Chaos Dragon (name something beginning with 'G' who is a level 4 wizard of Tzeentch with 5 spells (take that basic Tzeentch spell for this fella that allowa him to reroll all attacks etc). the catch with this guy is that each turn he must take a leadership test (Ld10) on an '11' he does nothing and on a '12' he is moved by your opponent for that turn. He also has a 3+ armour and 5+ ward save. Can't remember the points though.

Well that's about it. if I remember anything else (or get another look) I'll post it here

    Juhuuu... Juhuuu ..... Jipiiiiiii

endlich mal chaotische Chaoten!
    Murphy´s Law:
Was schief gehen kann geht schief.

    WHFB: fast alles :)
    WaMa/Hordes: Circle/Skorne/Khador
    b) Dass kaum Tiermenschen aufscheinen....
Was soll das???
