The GW Battlewagon came to my store this past Saturday and along with all the bitz crazyness going on there was some unreleased models for the viewing (including the C'Tan Nightbringer). I took the opportunity to talk to the GW staffer on hand about the new Necrons and between running out to the van for peoples orders and whatnot I was able to get some info.
The Flayed Ones (you know, the creepy guys wearing the skin?) apparently act as a scout unit, specifically with infiltration in mind. It is the Necrons belief that since the organic races are obviously of a lesser intelligence than they are (being an artificial lifeform brings perfection), they would never even notice a Necron lifeform amongst them. Hence the creation of the Flayed Ones, an advance scout unit who literally flay the skin and hide off of their victims and wear it as a means of disguise to infiltrate the enemy.
Apparently the second C'Tan (other than Nightbringer) that is definitely going to be getting a model and rules in the Necron Codex is not called the Trickster as peoples have been saying, but is instead called the Deceiver. Still don't know what he is capable of, but the guy I talked to said you can forget all about Nightbringer, cause the Deceiver is where it's really at.

GW-Regeln sind nicht immer gerecht, dafür aber meist schlecht gebalanced.
