Border Patrol banner composition rules:

up to 600 pts
one heroe (but no army standard banner)
at leat 2 but max of 4 (5)units
at least 1 core unit
at least one unit of infantry (ten minis strong)
max of one rare or one special unit but not both
max of one unit of cav
max of one warmachine (yes chariots are warmachines)
no model is allowed to cost more than 125 pts
no unit ist allowed more than 25 models

exceptions are Khemri where you take a liche priest as heroe and you are allowed to take mor than one chariot.
bretonians are not allowed to take their standard bearer.
