      Es is wieder zeit fuer unsere Agram Arena summer turnier !!!

      On behalf of Association of miniature collectors, modellers and tabletop-wargamers "Agram" it is my honour to invite you to Agram Arena summer 2007 !

      We are celebrating our 5th anniversary and this year's Arena is going to be bigger than ever!
      Not only that we are going to have The Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 40 000 International Tournaments, as usual, but there is also going to be Confrontation International Tournament and Black Queen International miniatures painting competition !

      To be held on 14th and 15th of July 2007. in Club SC, Zagreb, Croatia.

      Entry: FREE !

      Refreshing drinks for all players will be free during the tournament.
      Accommodation for Saturday night is free as well (if you need accommodation for Friday or Sunday night as well - please contact us) !
      Lunch is available at the price of 75 Kn (around 10 Euro) for both days (= 5 Euro/day) !

      LOTR: up to 600 points of Good & 600 points of Evil Army
      40 K: 1500 points
      Confrontation: 400 points
      All models must be painted !

      Dear friends,

      There has been a change in the (40K) rules so please note:

      1. (new) Codex Eldar and Dark Angels are going to be used !
      2. Blood Angels will be played by the OLD rules !

      3. Regarding Special Characters:
      Special characters may be used, subject to the restrictions detailed in the Codex. (i.e. if a character can be used only in armies that are played with 2000pts and above, you may not use it at AAS)

      4. Dice with sharp edges are not allowed at the tournament !

      The above updates are going to be implemented in the current rules & downloadable from our web site the next week...

      We hope you don't mind those unexpected changes but it is our oppinion that the games might be even more interesting ...

      It's our chief refferee's decision.. I find it a bit funny, but I guess he knows what he does :) ..

      Here is the explanation - as you know normal dice have rounded edges so they roll on the table when you throw them.
      However - sharp edged dice tend not to roll - they just slip so people can actually cheat using those .. I don't have much experience with those but if he says so then I guess - it is so (99% of my dice round edges so I have no problem with that :D ) ...

      Btw. what do you guys think about allowing special characters ?
      As you probably know those were forbiden before (even in the orignal rules for AAS07) but after lots of argueing we decided to let people using then (I hope it wasn't a mistake) .. What say you (as the people who an already consider themselves @home on AAS ) ?

      about the spec chars..hm..0-1 is ok,but to allow them all is..heavy!
      e.g., eldrad and the iyanden king?ouch
      maybe you should change this..:)

      other q:will there be a croatian national team in poland( em) ?
      GW-Regeln sind nicht immer gerecht, dafür aber meist schlecht gebalanced.

      Special chars: I like using them. Brings some extra rules into the game to deal with. Sure there can be some hard combos, maybe consider restricting them to one per army.

      Another question concerning them: Can I use standinmodels for them because some models can not be purchased anymore (Dark Eldar)

      The 40k championships take place the same day(s) at the same place. They have the same webadress if I am not mistaken. Grossa Grüna and me will be part of the austrian team.

      i´ve got another question...or two^^
      1)how do you deal with siren?when can it be used??
      2)my chaos general is riding a quad-bike which is a non-gw-model! any chance of being allowed to play this thing??
      3)no allies..so,LoD can´t take marines??

      Here are the answers:
      1) If we are talkin about Doom Siren, here are the answers:
      In the FAQ it says that Doom Sirens do not count as weapons in regards to the maximum number of weapons a model is allowed.

      Besides that, the Doom Siren can be used instead of shooting with another weapon in the shooting phase, and it also gives you a benefit in close combat (always use initiative for determining the order of attacking, even when attacking enemy in cover) whether you used it in the shooting phase or not.

      2)Generally no, but if it follows the rules for conversions, than it might. I cannot say more without seeing the model. If you are not sure, count on it not being allowed.

      3) Yes, LoD can't take Marines as allies. They can only use those that are listed in the army list (like CSM aspiring champs & Arch Heretic)

      Here's the answer for grossa gruena !

      You can use Siren either in the enemy shooting phase or his assault phase. If you used it in your opponent's shooting phase, he cannot shoot at your character even if he is the closest target. On the other hand, if you used it successfully in the enemy assault phase, he will not be able to assault your character. Of course, use of this power is subject to the usual rule of using MINOR psionics only once per PHASE, and either application of the power should be announced at the beginning of the phase.
