      Welcome!
I'll probably attend the tournament if my studies are allowing it. The rulespack includes a proposal for an accommodation - due to the fact that the accommodation fee is quite cheap I was wondering what kind of lodging I may expect.

Furthermore ÖBB (Austrian Railway) is offering a railwayticket from Vienna to Zagreb for 29? - how far is Zagreb gl. kol. from the tournament location / accommodation away (eg. do I need a additional bus ticket / taxi)?

      With kind regards,

      Philip / ThE_jOkEr

      Hey Philip!

The accomodation we reserve for our players is in the Ravnice youth hostel - ravnice-youth-hostel.hr/

We use that hostel every year for 9 years now, and everyone is more than happy with it, including 40k players from Austria (Jan Peters, Dominic Bender, Markus Tilli, Vilim Poqupec, ...)

It's a very clean and neat establishment :)

Zagreb gl. kol. - is Zagreb's main Bahnhoff, and is quite near to the tournament venue (like 10 minutes walking distance or 2 tram stations).

Hostel is a bit further outside of town, but is accessible with public transport or new cheap Zagreb taxis. Also, we can probably arrange some kind of private transport for you guys to get there (one of us with a car), as well as helping with the checkin if needed, etc.

Looking forward to seeing you! :)

      Dear st1v xtr1m,

thank you for your quick response. I'll contact some other Austrian WHFB players that we may arrange a collective trip to Croatia :) I hope we can strengthen the contact between the Carinthian / Austrian and the Croatian community. If I need further information I'll write you a PM / mail or contact you here.

      cya,
      Philip / ThE_jOkEr
