The Story so far.
Jax and his Stomcompany made a clean escape from their ambushers the Red Scorpions. Their Allies and Friends the Charmin Rangers were never threatened by the Tau. (although the SOA suspected some of those to be around but ..well) Jax left the planet and they Stone Company under Captain Obi took over the rearguard action. They are quite barbaric and love to dress up in pelts and stuff like that. So no more bike ..more howling mad men. Meanwhile the Rangers are digging in around the Space port of Landing awaiting the coming onslaught of the invaders. They will fight to the last men to allow this shipment to escape.
Magenta, secret cooperative of the Ordo Xenos, managed to infiltrate the GK Cruiser Dutiful Passage and brought the Inquisitor of the Orde Malleus under her spell. (well you know..victorias secret is not so secret)
So the GK were deceived because for the Ordo Xenos it is very important to keep the lines to the SOA open. (well they have the right weapons for the right job, jokero digital weapon, eldar dismantle bullets and the odd tyranid spore now and then..and we all know that all xenos have to die..yeah and therefore you have to consider the big picture..which means it lies not in the interest of the ordo xenos for their borthers to succed)
So they attacked the UM contingent and denied viable information to the cause of the emperor. Bad for them...that another GK cruiser was scanning their mission and THIS Inquisitor saw through the screen of smoke magenta was deploying. Unfortuneatly nobody else did and so it is the Job of these not deceived GK to stop the Inquistor traitor now and forever. But on the other side there are brothers. And by the emperor GK don´t kill GK.
Meanwhile the famous chaos Lord Chris has broken the back of the vanguard of the Space Wolves and took all the spoils and infos he could get his hand on. Well badly for the SOA he knows where the machines are. Right now they are disesembled and made ready for shipping to the new home of the SOA. It is vital for the SOA to keep their trump cards. But for Lord Chris it is vital as well..Abbadon is a tough warmaster and Chris loves his private parts..so..motivation runs hight here.
Well but the Emperors finest did their job as well and interogated John boy..who as Jax predicted sang like a canary.
They are led by Brother Chaplain Temerus, Cleanser of worlds and hammer of the xenos. Well in his case ..the Tau. And boy did he cleansed them..but the sins of the past-..bite you sometimes in the ass.
Their Shas O Wófgang, after he heard who was on the planet, scrapped together all his elite warriors to revenge his fallen comrades and their kin now and forever. There will be no mercy for Temerus the Slaughterer.
Well and the space puppies found their magic item. And the big "fetch it" led them to fall back point Beta of the Rangers of Charmin...
Well lets see how the story goes on.
Missions
Mission1
Escape :
Players: Sia vs Chris Jez vs Phillip
Points:1000
Objektive: Escape with 4 from 6 crates from the planet.
Set up: Long table. 18 " from the board edge there are the crates which have to be transported by loaders on board of a shuttle. there are 3 loaders.
They have following stats. Armour 12 10 10 are civial counterparts and can´t fight. they ar hit in HTh on a 4+ but can move on after a round of hth.The moment they move in contact with the shuttle the movement stops.(note loaders can run and yes they can move put the creates in the shuttle and run back to get more)
On the opposite edge the attacker 12".Defender sets up first Attacker moves first.
Special Rules: Infiltration, Deep strike , AA Guns, (means any time somebody deep strikes the defender rolls on 5 the strike is delayed on a 6 the troops are destroyed)
Set up: this is a Fly Base. And it is protected. So set up a defensive perimeter and a zone of 12 " from the perimeter to the first building. I advise you to use LOS Building or hills to cover the advance of the attacker.
Mission 2
Eliminate the traitor
Players: Alex and Sly
Points: I leave this up to you
Objektive: Kill the Inquisitor (yes both armies MUST have at least one inquistor) who kills the inquistor (or both of them) wins the game.
Specials: GK dont kill each other. No matter what.
So no power weapons, AP I +II weapons and psychic powers against their bothers. (no the inquisitor is NOT their brother) GK use shoker and stunner rounds. And a plasma with a stunner...nah...
Who eliminated the traitor wins. I strongly suggest that Silvester use 2 inquistors. One being Magenta.
Set up: Determine by RB
Specials: Deep strike, infiltrate,
oh by the way..there is a central objektive. It is a living complex. In this houses are Xenos artifacts which will alter the change of the 43 crusade. So whenever an Inquisitor is in this complex after turn 3 and the opponent is not..he won the game. The complex should be fairly big...10 x 20 "
Mission 3
Revenge
Players: Michael and Jez.
Objektive: Kill the Slaughterer
Points:1000
Set up: Central camp 20 x 10" the space marine sets up camp for a tactical meeting with the might war heroe temerus. The camp is fortified 4+sv and has a central bunker.(3+sv on the first turn rerollable)
Tau attack during the night and try to kill him.
Specials: Night fight rules;
Temerus alway travels with his BOB which is a Retinue. They are his bodyguards. (Assault squad 5 men/ vets)
Tau: they have sworn to avenge their kin . So no fire warriors and kroot. No squishy path finders or devilfishes. Here come the elite of the tau and that means SUITS.
The tau player has to use all avaible Elite choices for Krisis suit. For this mission Scout suits count as fast attack and the tau player has to use at least 3 heavy slots.
If the tau kills temerus he wins the game any other outcome is a loss for the tau. Temerus and his squad wound Tau always on a 3+ in HTH.
