Space Giant, International 40k tournament
Dear fellow 40k gamers, you are hereby invited to an international two day 40k tournament organized by the "Društvo maketarjev in igralcev namiznih strateških iger Slovenije".
The games will be played over the weekend on the 11.-12. of May in Ljubljana, in Toba
na.
The armies will consist of 1850 points, with allied detachments and fortifications allowed (However limited to the Aegis defence line and the Bastion). Please send your entries to the following email address: warhammer40k.slovenia@gmail.com where you must include the following:
- Your name and surname
- Whether you will need accommodations
- Your army list (we will print them for you)
The maximum number of players is: 40
The entry fee is 20 euro and it includes the food for both days.
Prizes will be awarded to the best three players and to the best painted army.
Schedule:
1. Day
9:00 – 9:30 registration
9:30 – 12:30 first game - Crusade with Dawn of War deployment
12:30 – 13:30 lunch
13:20 – 16:30 second game - Purge the Alien with Hammer and Anvil deployment
16:30 – 19:30 third game - Big Guns Never Tire with Vanguard Strike deloyment
2. Day
10:00 – 13:00 fourth game – The Scouring with the Spearhead deployment (5th ed)
13:00 – 14:00 lunch
14:00 – 17:00 final game – The Emperor's Will with the Dawn of War deployment
17:00 – 17:30 award ceremony
RULES:
Proxies are not allowed. Your armies needn't be painted. All games will be played on the standard 4'x6' tables. You can play any of the current active armies using the latest codex. Always keep your printed lists at hand and show them to your opponent before the game begins. Mystery terrain will not be used. Forgeworld models are allowed, but you must bring a printed out copy of the appropriate set of rules for them.
Points system:
TP – tournament points which will decide the ranking of the players
VP – victory points earned during the game for getting objectives
WIN – 20TP
DRAW – TP
LOSS – 5TP
These points will be modifyed using the following difference in VPs
+- 1 TP for the difference of 3 - 5 VP
+- 2 TP for the difference of 6 - 7 VP
+- 3 TP for the difference of 8 – 10VP
An additional 10 TP can be earned based on your paintjob.
