Guys. You cannot gun tank based on an AA MG. You cannot gun tank on passengers and TEs. You cannot gun tank on Cupola.
The rule is to identify "gun tanks" mixed within a platoon. A Panzer IV in a platoon of Panzer IIIs. A Firefly in a platoon of Shermans. Not splitting hairs and using it as a way to snipe a platoon leader who has a cupola or some other gamey advantage.
If this must be addressed in LFTF, it will be. I'd prefer it not, as it's one more quibble to add to the massive tome that has become the clarifications to dissuade new players to get into FOW.
List of Examples:
ABLE TO GUN TANK-
2 Different Marks of tanks (ie Panzer IV and Panzer III)
Tanks with different guns (Shermans vs Fireflies/76s)
Major Fittings: Schurtzen.
NOT ABLE TO GUN TANK-
upgrades to the "team" but not the hull- IE Tank escorts or tanks with passengers
Minor fittings: Cupolas, AA MGs, minor exhaust changes (ie- a Panzer IV J vs a Panzer IV H)
