just saw release schedule for 2004 for GW - 4th Ed 40k is the christmas release!
The boxed models are Space marines, and to my surprise, Nids! The codexes for christmas 2005 are therefore Tyranids AND Marines at the same time!
Apparently, the box is going in a "choose your own" army format, that is to say, after the initial tyranid/marine splash release, customers will be able to choose what goes with their core game.
Also, thye new plastics for Christmas 2004 are Platic terminators, and, shock, plastic Marine Devastators!
That is to say, presumably based on the ease of casting of the guard sprues, they'll have marine heavy weapons sprue, plus maybe a new small devvy sprue.
Also, my cell manager suggested a plastic marine command sprue, but that wss pretty vague so don't count on it...

Neue Fahrzeugregeln.
Soll wohl im italienischen WD gestanden haben:
1) the best thing is the overall clarification of the veichle rules, from movement to fire; so they are a MUST have!!!!
2) damage table are, contrary all rumors, more GRAVIOUS. FREX additional "weapon destroyed" and "immoblized" results have additional effects. Penetrating damage table is a way WORSE... now if you get "immobilized" or "weapon destroyed" in that table.. you HAVE to debark woith cargo!!!!
3)lot of clarification for blast weapon.. they must be aimed with the center ON a veichle.. and only if the centre is ON the viechle it has full strengh.. otherwise the S is halved
4) artillery move AND fire, but roll for Bs. if miss, the shot is LOST.. otherwise work normally!
5) GUESS is gone forever.. you place guess weapon where you want... but if you not see the point, it scatter 2d6!!! but if you roll hit.. you are going to harm a lot your opponent!!!
6) skimmer who move 6" or less can be just immobilized and are not destroyed... so now IS an option move 6 or less!!!
7) the rumor about S5 weapon can always fire is true.. but ONLY in Addition to other weapons.. so if you move 6"; you can fire a weapon and the all other S5 weapon... unless you use artillery....
Rhino rush is dead!!! you can no more debark & assault, unless the veichle is open topped! if the transport is destroyed.. the cargo CANNOT move and fire next turn!!!!!! also you cannot debark if the veichle move more 12" NO MATTER THE SPECIAL RULES!!! yes, red paint job, turbo and overcharged engine LOSE they special abiliteis!!! Also note that some result on the penetranting table force you to debark!!!!!!!!
9) you CAN use grenade on dread's.. but only hit on 6... to compensate, you NEVER roll against back armour, even if in contact to it!!!!
