Fantasy ÖMS 2004

Wenn ich es bemaltechnisch und finanziell schaffe, dann sinds bei mir böse Zwerge aus Karak Kadrin, sonst werdens "fade" Skaven...

Eigentlich wollte ich nebenbei noch versuchen, eine Middenheimerarmee auf die Beine zu stellen und diese ins Rennen zu schicken, aber das scheitert an Geld und Zeit.

gibt es auf der ÖMS page irgendwo Regelklarstellungen?

meine Frage bezieht sich auf Streitwägen und chars..
als HE hab ich 2 Strtwg für eine Auswahl.
mmn bleibt das auch so wenn ich nen char draufstelle.. allerdings weiss ich das die Meinungen da auseinandergehen..
bitte um Klarstellung!

nicht toll, daß es beinahe nur Chaoten sind :(.
Meiner Liste kommt Chaos zwar entgegen, aber ich fürchte mich schon davor in 5 Spielen 4x gegen Chaos zu spielen...

naja ich würd ja gern was anderes spielen! nur meine bemalung erlaubt es nicht, ..... noch nicht!

für die nächste turniersaison hab ich schon mit der planung einer neuen liste begonnen, wird recht fein und ist bis zu den öms 2005 realistisch!

als kleinen trost kann ich nur sagen, wenn ich fertig werde wird sich meine liste doch ein wenig von den anderen chaos listen unterscheiden !

also nach dem letzten updates auf der öms seite muss ich schon sagen wirklich hochkarätiges teilnehmerfeld! so einfach wie bis letztes jahr wird es sicher nicht unter die top 10 zu kommen, und schon garnicht in die preisränge (wahnsinns preise), freu mich schon!

die frage würde in das Faq der ÖMS gehören....aber ich kann dir sagen dass intern an einem "Antwortkatalog" zu den strittigsten problemen gearbeitet wird..ich weiß ist nicht gerade unwichtig ob der haberer auf streitwagen gleich die ganze auswahl verbaucht oder nicht....aber noch ein wenig geduld...

Hello everybody! My name is Marko, and I'am from Croatia. Few months ago Tielner invited uson our forum ums-agram.hr/phpBB2 to Your tournament.
Here are several of us who would like to attend that event of Yours.
First I would like to say that I visited your home page (archive to be more precise), and I'm very pleased (should I say impressed) with painting of your armies. :))
Now! I must say that my "Deutsch" is very poor so I can understand every third word.
So if You can, I would be very happy to hear something more on English about your club, players, and most of all about tournament.
I understand that event is held on 14./15. August in town Krems (north-west of Wien yes?) , ticket costs is 30 eur, and Army limitation is 2250 pts ( :))).
So if there is anything else I must know, I would like to hear it.

The ÖMS (or Austrian Warhammer Championships) are an international tourney which will take place in Mautern which is north west of Vienna. (approx 1 hour by car)
Armies have to be painted the point maximum is 2250 as you already mentioned.

There are different categories where you can get points.

a) battles
b) painting
c) quiz
d) armychoice

there will be a seperate fairplay prize as well which will not count towards your points total for the tournament. Be aware that the tournament language is German but i am pretty sure that we can help you if there are problems.

This special tournament is organized by a body of expierienced WH players and the 2 bigger east Austrian Clubs. (WOW and Keepers of Dice) which will be responsible for terrain etc.

How do you valuate painting of the army? I suppose that models must be painted at GW standard, must be based with flock, static grass, sand or whatever, must be movement trays, and WYSIWYG is pretty clear (great weapons are great weapons, units with banners have banners etc.).

well..... not really GW standard,

Miniatures have to be painted in at least 3 colours, excluding colours on the base, to be valid on ÖMS. But that does not mean that such an army would become more then 0-2 points.

There are summary 20 points to reach in the painting section of the austrian championship, these are 20% of the complete tournament points and flow together with the quiz, armychoice, games result points which will show us the austrian "Warhammer all star".

For detailed information abour painting valuations in english please be patient, i will post them as soon as i translated them. (where is my bloody dictionary?)


WYSIWYG as you mentioned: Orcs are no Black Orcs, Skinks are no Dwarven Clansmen, Minotaurs are no Trolls and so on...

Weapon combinations have to be correct only in the first rank, excluding command, so in a 5x4 Black Orc regiment with twohanded weapons and CSM you need 2 Black Orcs with twohanded weapon in the first rank, the ranks behind can be filled up with two handweapons.

Characters have to have the correct weaponry, lance, two handed weapon, two handweapons, handweapon shield.... and so on, except magic items of every kind.

But listen up now! If EVERYTHING in the army is WYSIWYG (except magic items) you will get 2 extrapoints for it.

Hi,my name is Marinko Brki-Tot and I wish to inform you that myself(and my DE :D) and Father Nurgle (who is currently somewhere on adriatic,painting some hounds 8)) are very seriusly preparing for Your tournirment...
bethween 3 and 5 people showed intrest in coming to Your tournirment, but as things go, i think that you can expect father nurgle and myself.
When he returns to Zagreb(in a week or so...) we will probably be able to tell you more information but there is a 75% probability that soon we will throw dices togheter on fields(well,tables actualy) of honour

I have a question about the quiz...is it possible that you hand us questions in english?
